Jerlyn is an experienced process facilitator and life coach with the belief that the only constant is change in this world. Her clients include teams and corporate organizations from the public and private sectors who wish to enhance their capacity to manage change, collaboration, relationships, and performance.
With over 20 years of corporate experience in Organization Development, Management Consultancy, Human Resource and IT Project Management, she had also worked closely with consulting firms such as Boston Consulting Group, Arthur D’Little, KPMG, and Ernst & Young to conceptualise and deliver key strategic initiatives for the Ministry of Defence, Singapore. She had held the appointment of Head Change Management with the Ministry of Defence where she chaired and led a multi-service team in managing and executing one of the largest HR transformation efforts in Singapore, in successfully bringing about the cutover and implementation of one integrated, enterprise HR system in MINDEF. She was the founder of Defence Management Group Facilitators Network who shaped the development of a team of in-house facilitators and guided them in designing and delivering many teambuilding, innovation, change and business review workshops for MINDEF and the SAF between 2007 to 2009. She also spearheaded the Defence Management Group’s Knowledge Management Initiative which contributed to MINDEF/SAF achievements in two distinguished awards in Asia: (1) Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise Overall Winner – MAKE Asia 2010 and (2) KM Excellence Award – Platinum Award 2010.
She had presented at various Conferences and Seminars such as the IAF Asia Conference in Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and MINDEF’s Innovation-In-Action Seminar. She had designed and facilitated workshops/sessions on visioning, strategic planning, leadership development, team building & learning, facilitation, innovation & creativity, change management, communication, decision-making and problem-solving. Effectively bilingual, she had also designed and led a series of public engagement sessions in Mandarin for the Chinese Development Assistant Council; and facilitated in Public Engagement Sessions such as Our Singapore Conversation, the CPF/Medishield/Eldershield Review Focus Group Discussions, Founder’s Memorial, and REACH sessions. Jerlyn also designs and run public and corporate courses in facilitation.
She is also a Life Coach & iChing practitioner who aspire to nurture the heart, mind & spirit of people in leading a balanced and meaningful life. With her coaching skills and years of deep research and practice in the ancient art of iChing, quantum theory, energy, healing modalities, leadership and change theories, Jerlyn specialises in a unique and integral approach to helping people audit and understand their natural gifts, energy, and interaction obstacles in different phases of their lives. In the coaching process, people will learn how to shift their mindsets, adopt new perspectives, calibrate and fine-tune their authentic being and energies to achieve balance and wellbeing in life.
Jerlyn holds Bachelor’s Degree in Science majoring in Physics (NUS), a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, and a Graduate Certificate in Management Consultancy. Being one of the founding members and a former President of the IAF Singapore Chapter, she had also contributed significantly to shaping and supporting the growth of facilitation community in Singapore as well as the Asia region. Jerlyn is also an avid photographer who enjoys travelling and connecting with nature and people.
